The Sporting News Fantasy Games division is seeking an enthusiastic Web Developer with very strong HTML skills to build web-based fantasy sports games. The candidate must have a methodical approach to large scale site architecture and be up on current web authoring practices. Prefrerence will be given to candidates with a strong programming background. The candidate's knowledge of and interest in sports and fantasy games will be a significant factor in our choice.
Requirements:
HTML, CSS, server-side dynamic HTML (e.g. ColdFusion, ASP, JSP, PHP), JavaScript, DHTML, DOM, SQL, a scripting language (Perl, Python, PHP).
Familiar with: SQL Stored procedures, sports
Plusses:
Flash
BA in Computer Science or related field required
Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of online games and premium online content.
