We are a growing company looking to hire a full-time Web Graphics Designer.

In a short time, ZiZo has developed a roster of Fortune 100 clients, advising them on, and creating for them, digital content strategy and initiatives to create powerful communities and provide brands a competitive advantage in the changing media and marketing world.

 

Job Description

 

Candidates should have very solid web design experience, combined with a well-developed online skill set (HTML, CSS, online image processing, Flash components, etc). Exceptional Photoshop/Illustrator and high-level web design skills with layout and graphics programs a must.  Video compression and editing skills are highly desirable.

 

Qualifications

 

BA/BFA degree Graphic Design/graphic arts or Minimum of 3 years experience in design studio or agency or 4 years professional web design experience

 

Expert proficiency in Photoshop/ImageReady, Illustrator, Flash MX, InDesign, Acrobat,  After Effects, Final Cut Pro (or other video editing software)

 

Understanding of fundamental design principles such as UI, color theory, motion graphics, layout, and typography

 

Familiarity with common web standards and technologies

 

Excellent project planning and organization skills, attention to detail, and creativity

 

Proven experience and understanding of Content Management

 

Candidates must be able to translate and leverage concepts into different web vehicles such as Logos, E-mail, Website Design and Online Advertising Campaigns, and Flash presentations with respect to current web standards and current/emerging technologies.

 

Familiarity with PHP, MySQL is a plus.

Job location:  Full-time in Santa Monica, California
