Websphere Portal Developer or Architect
OUr Client's Business Services' Portals Content and eCommerce Group is seeking experienced WebSphere Portal Developers and Architects. Positions can be based in most any major US city, however require 80-100% business week travel. Responsibilities may include: architecting, designing, developing and/or re-engineering highly complex and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms to support application solutions which meet client requirements. Qualifications include: 5+ years professional Information Technology industry experience; 1+ year specific e-business solution and integration experience leveraging WebSphere Portal Server (through version 5.X), WebSphere Application Server and related technologies; 2+ years enterprise wide architecture experience using Java, J2EE and JSPs; excellent communication skills; strong teaming skills; a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline; the ability to perform 80-100% business week travel. Preferred qualifications include: WebSphere Studio, Rational Unified Process (RUP), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services experience; consulting experience; technical or project lead or management experience.
