BSA/AML Financial Investigator

Responsibilities Include:  Assigned cases must be investigated, analyzed, evaluated and documented to ensure that any potential suspicious activity is identified and compliance objectives are met.  Case checklists and investigations must be completed to satisfy the quality control review without exceptions.  Provide recommendations for SAR filing and possible disengagement of the client.  Complete all suspicious activity reporting (SAR) to meet regulatory compliance guidelines within specified timeframe and with no errors.  Act as a liaison between Business Units, Legal Division, Corporate Compliance, Regulatory Agencies and Law Enforcement when appropriate.

 

Requirements Include:  Minimum of 3-6 years relative industry experience required, Bachelor's degree a plus.  Desired applicants will have a working knowledge of the BSA/AML regulations and an investigation background including experience in bank operations, compliance or audit.  Required experience using bank mainframe and web-based applications as are strong internet research skills.  This position requires effective written and verbal communication skills. MS Office Suite proficiency required (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.)

 

Preferred Skills Include:  Working Knowledge of BSA, AML, OFAC and OCC regulations, training and compliance is strongly preferred.
