We are looking to fill immediate, fulltime openings in the Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Seattle and the San Francisco Bay area.

Our firm is charged with protecting the world?s most established media moguls, corporate executives and entertainment figures during on-location movie shoots, international business trips, at their homes and offices, and during public appearances where inappropriate pursuers could reliably encounter them.



Our work is high-stakes and our clients require the best.

 



Although we?ve enjoyed traveling the world with actors, musicians, and politicians, much of our work is extremely demanding and grueling. A majority of our bodyguards work at a fulltime Command Center where they admit vendors, welcome guests, and monitor closed-circuit cameras, listening devices, and infrared beams, etc. The Command Centers are independent security offices built at our client?s estates or places of business. Providing 24-hour protective operations to our fulltime clients is our main focus, and we are searching for protectors who can adapt to any environment.

Although many of our entry-level security agents come from elite military units and have extensive protective experience, we will also consider protectors who are interested in learning our work.

Typical first-year earnings (including overtime pay and performance bonuses) are $50,300.00. All promotions and advancement are based on merit, not seniority. In this time of great growth for Gavin de Becker & Associates, there are excellent opportunities for advancement.



Candidates are required to take physical readiness tests as well as pre-employment and on-going drug and nicotine screening.

 



Physical Readiness Test:

 



Men:

40 Push-ups in 2 minutes or less

40 Sit-ups in 2 minutes or less

5 Pull-ups (Overhand, starting in a dead-hang)

Bench Press 100% of your body weight

1 Mile Run in 8 minutes or less

 



Women:

20 Push-ups in 2 minutes or less

40 Sit-ups in 2 minutes or less

3 Pull-ups (Overhand, starting in a dead-hang)

Bench Press 75% of your body weight

1 Mile Run in 8 minutes or less
