District Manager - NYC

Oversee and direct all operational, financial and administrative functions for assigned district office. Individual?s performance will be evaluated based on, but not limited to, achieving financial goals and objectives and on providing quality customer service.
Essential Duties
?Project energy and enthusiasm, and motivates the district team.
?Prepare and monitor approved annual district office budget.
?Generate new business by supporting a sales team or through personal efforts.
?Manage the delivery of services through subordinate managers and fill in for them in their absence.
?Coach, counsel, develop, etc. assigned personnel to assist with their opportunity for advancement/promotability.
?Oversee administrative and operational functions including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, scheduling, etc. utilizing manual and automated methods.
?Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.
?Act as liaison between AlliedBarton and the customer to foster customer intimacy, including travel to/from face to face meetings.
?Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
?Keep records and prepare accurate and timely reports both manually and through automated methods.
?Actively participate in community and business related organizations.
Qualifications:
1.Four years or more of business management experience including at least one (1) year of contract security officer management experience preferred.
2.College degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice strongly preferred.
3.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the capability to use computer and peripheral equipment required.
4.Some knowledge and experience with the use of quality and/or continuous improvement tools, techniques, practices, etc.
5.Math skills to include fractions and percentages.
6.Ability to conform with complex procedures.
7.Ability to work in a team oriented management environment and to help identify and solve problems.
8.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9.Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors, clients and the general public.
10.Ability to work a flexible schedule and to work evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required.
11.Reliable, appropriate transportation to do field work.
