Envelope Security Manager – West Coast (Golden Eagle)

Qualified candidate will provide security expertise, threat assessments, and management of security operations to all Tesoro business units and staff functions in assigned envelope. Responsible for the development and implementation of Company policies and procedures that comply with federal guidelines and standards. Primary accountability for the development of protection required by each site, procedures, training, security equipment, visitor and access controls, rail operations, maritime security, enhanced security communications and information sharing.  Responsible for execution and management of security capital and expense budgets for the region in conjunction with site management.

 

Bachelor?s degree required and advanced degree preferred.  Certification in a security ? related program; CPP, CFE, ASIS Board Certification or other equivalent training.  At least 10 years experience in management of security operations in law enforcement, corporate security, and/or government military.  Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  Experience in interaction with enforcement agencies, government and elected officials.  Willing and able to work extended evening, or weekend hours, also willing to do 40% travel as needed.  Experienced in researching, and developing compliance plans for new regulations.  Comfortable presenting information to members of public, management, and employees.  Proven management and leadership abilities.
