As a member of the Assets Protection team, you'll create tools, programs and metrics that are designed to support safeness and reduce theft and fraud.


Purpose

As a Group Assets Protection Team Leader, you'll oversee all Assets Protection functions for approximately 75 Target stores, ensuring that your stores' losses are kept at or below company goals. You will also implement the best theft-control programs and oversee the recruitment and development of highly effective Assets Protection teams.

Ensuring our assets are well protected for approximately 75 Target stores
Supervising six to eight district Assets Protection team leaders
Maintaining stock-shortage awareness throughout the year and monitoring stores' readiness for physical inventory
Working to attain stock-shortage goals through Assets Protection programs, store visits and involvement with store organization
Taking a leadership role in stock-shortage programs
Ensuring placement of recruitment, retention and development programs for all Assets Protection team members within your group
Overseeing risk management, fiscal management, crisis management and direction of investigations for your stores
Maintaining relationships with law enforcement and ensuring new store locations open with appropriate levels of physical security and Assets Protection staffing
Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Skills and experience to oversee our Assets Protection programs for multiple locations
4-year college degree
Five or more years retail experience at the regional or director level
Assets Protection experience with at least three years as a multi-store supervisor
Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills
Desired Requirements:

Post-graduate education preferred
