LIEUTENTANT-DALLAS, TX
JOB DESCRIPTION: Handles the day to day operation of the site specific guard contract by meeting all contractual requirements, schedules personnel to minimize overtime, ensures that posts are staffed, provides direct supervision of security officers. Maintains order and discipline of security officers in accordance with established Rules of Personal Conduct and contractual agreements. Ensures that officers have appropriate uniforms and equipment. Provides input regarding performance evaluations. Stands post when necessary. Coordinates the resolution of union issues with local union President. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Diploma/GED required and minimum of 2 years prior supervisory experience in job related field or as specified in the contract; or a combination of education and experience. Current TX Armed Guard License and GSA certifications preferred.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Supervisory and conflict management skills; PC skills helpful including Word, WordPerfect and Excel; problem solving skills; good written and verbal communication skills.
