We are First Advantage Investigative Services, known nationally as the premiere nationwide provider of investigation services, ranging from video surveillance to complete background checks and locate investigations. Due to our explosive growth, First Advantage is currently recruiting Licensed part-time Field Agents in the Buckhannon, WV area. We are seeking individuals who have a sincere passion for the field of investigations and possess a strong desire to expose individuals who cheat the system.

Preferred candidates include individuals possessing the following qualifications:
> Private Investigator License (current)
> Experienced Private Investigators
> Criminal Justice Degree
> Loss Prevention
> Military Service
> Law Enforcement Experience

The primary function of the field agent is to independently conduct video surveillance from a vehicle for 8-12 hours at a time. During the course of a typical investigation, the field agent must conduct surveillance of individuals suspected of committing insurance fraud and document all activity on videotape. Subsequently, field agents must formulate an accurate and comprehensive written report outlining all relevant facts of the investigation, including a summary of all of the observed activities.

Please note that extensive driving travel to and from case assignments, along with overnight stays are required for this position. It is not uncommon for an investigator to spend at least a week out of the month traveling to handle assignments in other areas and this should be strongly considered prior to applying. The work hours can be long and irregular and assignments can take place on evenings, weekends and holidays, therefore flexibility in your schedule is a vital requirement for this opportunity. Knowledge of personal computers is also required.
