About the Company Jack's 99c Stores / Jack's World is a retail business located in Midtown Manhattan. There are three locations: 110 West 32nd St. (bet. 6th and 7th Aves.) 16 East 40th St. (bet. 5th Ave. and Madison Ave.) 45 West 45th St. (bet. 5th and 6th Aves.) Jack's stores are high volume retail locations that feature two very unique businesses. The 99c Store sells all merchandise for 99c or less. Jack's World is an upscale closeout store where the customer never knows what name brand merchandise they may find at prices below market values. The stores see over 15,000 customers per day. Good customer service skills and patience are two important qualities an applicant must possess. The applicant's must have good basic math skills. The stores operate seven days a week. Many of the available positions are afternoon/evening and weekend shifts. Many of the companies supervisory positions are filled from within. Qualifications

Valid NYS Security Guard license

Maintains a safe work environment.

Experience monitoring activities on-premises using alarm systems and closed circuit television.

Handles ambiguity and uncertainty. Copes with change.

Uses good judgment and available information to resolve issues.

Remains objective when listening to conflicting perspectives.

Has excellent attendance and punctuality.

Remains composed and behaves professionally during emotionally-charged or stressful situations.

Conscious of need to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company values.

Demonstrates professionalism at all times.
