Required Skills

Completed Ohio Basic Peace Officer Training Academy.  Knowledge of physical security, related security systems and fire control systems.  Ability to collect, gather and report information both verbally and in writing.  Valid Ohio driver's license.  Must be physically able to detain and/or apprehend suspects

 

Equipment Used

Radios; fire alarm systems and extinguishing equipment; personal computer and standard office equipment.

 

Marginal Job Functions

Interact with employees, security equipment service providers, visitors and customers.

 

Preferred Skills

Previous law enforcement and/or security experience

 

Essential Job Functions

Patrol all areas of the bank's facilities (including observation of tellers and customers if applicable); operate fire alarm boxes and fire fighting equipment; operate/man fire and emergency exits; operate utility switches and any equipment used in case of fire or emergency; have a working knowledge of the fire and notifier panels; take photo IDs and program access cards
