The Regional Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for the protection of Company assets and the safety of associates and customers within an assigned geographical area.  As store shrinkage control is the number one priority, responsibilities are directly related to store activities and travel is involved more than 80% of the time.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Conduct internal theft investigation through the use of in-store observations, surveillances, shrink result review, POS exception based reporting, information received, known theft reporting, etc.

 

Conduct on-site audit and review of Company operating, loss prevention and safety policies and procedures.  Initiate re-training on substandard performance.

 

Conduct loss prevention awareness training to regional, district and store associates through one-on-one meetings and indirect communication such as newsletter, e-mails etc.

 

Maintain oversight responsibility for the theft reduction programs in high shrink stores throughout the region.

 

Maintain accurate record keeping of all activities and insure open communication with store, district and regional associates.

 

Qualifications

Minimum of a High school Diploma; BS in Criminal Justice or Accounting preferred.

 

5 ? 10 years previous multi-unit loss prevention experience

 

Experience with criminal interviewing

 

Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

 

Previous experience with POS exception based reporting
