 We have an excellent career opportunity for a Regional Service Manager in our Service Department. The person in this position is responsible for contracted service companies (vendors) who provide various types of services to local customers. This is not a sales position, but a position where the manager builds relationships with vendors and assigns service tickets to perform service work on customer alarm systems. The manager is also responsible for ?managing? a group of vendors who provide these services to a specific region of the country.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Personally assigns service tickets to vendors who perform service work for customers of Monitronics (i.e., spends most of his/her time on the telephone working with service technicians)

- Ensures that service dealers have parts, tracking capability, etc. to service Monitronics customers

- Manages activities of up to two Service Assistants who work with service dealers

- Trains authorized service dealers on service/billing policies/procedure

- Monitors service performance and conformity to policies/procedures

- Responds promptly to emergency service needs

- Negotiates service contracts and resolves contractual issues

- Reviews and approves service invoices submitted for payment by service providers

- Daily assigns service tickets to appropriate service companies

- Receives and reviews service reports submitted by service companies

- Assesses disciplinary action on service companies who don?t conform to established policies/procedures

- Travels 3-5 days per month

- Manages all aspects of region operations to assure that service vendors are providing top-of-the-line service to our alarm system customers 

 

Experience & Qualifications Required:

- Bachelors degree from recognized four-year college or university

- Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of Database Word Processing Software

- At least one year of management/supervisory experience (Call center management, a plus)

- Ability to develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve customer service

- Ability to solve and to effectively respond to customer and dealer service issues

- Excellent written and oral presentation communication skills

- Excellent work ethic, with a high level of energy and initiative

- Ability to work independently
