Information Systems Security Engineer

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Analyzes and defines security requirements for information protection. Defines and develops security policies. Performs vulnerability assessments and risk assessments. Provides customer support in solving all phases of Information Systems Security (ISS) related technical issues. Reviews and recommends solutions based on product/systems test results, government/industry policy, practices, procedures and customer requirements. Conducts system security analysis and implementation, system engineering, design assurance, configuration management, integration, and testing of ISS enabling products and techniques. Insures that ISS solutions are fully compatible with or engineered into the customer?s network design.

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least 7 years of system integration and implementation knowledge. Knowledge of the certification and accreditation process is also required. Candidate must have knowledge of DCID6/3. Position requires a BS in engineering or computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
