Security Representative
**Part-time and Full-time positions are available.**
The Methodist Hospital, a Fortune 100 Best Company, is currently seeking candidates to fill several positions as Security Representatives.As members of the Methodist Hospital Support Services Team, these individuals will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and employees as premier healthcare delivery is provided.
Full-time opportunities are structured in 3 weekly shifts (13 hours each), while part-time opportunities will be 2 weekly shifts (13 hours each).
The Security Representative provides basic security related services, investigations, personal protection, traffic control assignments, and emergency response services to the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Patrols both interior and exterior of Hospital facilities. Responds to all alarm calls, security problems, and requests for service. Monitors all radio commications and provides proper and timely response. Demonstrates working knowldedge and proper responses for civil disorders, disasters, and severe weather. Identifies safety and fire hazards.
The ideal candidates will have the following.High school diploma or equivalency Possess a valid driver's license Sixty approved credit hours in criminal justice or related area preferred 2+ years security experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Must demonstrate flexiblity and dependability
