Surveillance Investigator, Insurance Investigations

Employment Prequalification Information

 

Qualifications: Applicants who are licensed as Private Investigators are preferred, however, qualified, inexperienced candidates who  meet licensing requirements are encouraged to apply. Previous surveillance experience, college degree, military service, or law enforcement background are a plus. Applicants must be self motivated and disciplined so that they may work with limited supervision. Applicants must be available for occasional overnight travel. Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of computers and possess the ability to utilize Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. Applicants must have and maintain a valid state drivers? license in the state in which they reside. Due to licensing requirements and insurability, applicants must not have any prior convictions for criminal offenses, and must have a good credit history and driving record.

 

Equipment:

?All investigators are required to possess a surveillance vehicle, laptop computer, and mobile telephone.

?All investigators are required to possess a Sony Digital 8mm Camcorder that meets or exceeds Tri-Starr standards.

 

Salary:

All investigator positions are full time, salary non-exempt positions, with a minimum base salary of $30,000 per year plus bonuses.  Higher salaries are dependent upon such factors as licensing or registration and previous experience. 

 

Expenses:

?All surveillance-related expenses are paid for by Tri-Starr.  Any approved out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed at the end of our two-week pay period.

? Investigators required to stay out of town overnight will receive a meal allowance, which is currently set at $20 per night.

In general, Tri-Starr Investigations provides the following benefits to regular, full-time investigators:

 

? provides medical group health insurance coverage for investigators at minimal cost available after 90 days of service. 

?provides a 401K retirement program with dollar-for-dollar matching company funds up to 4%.  Employees are eligible for the program after one year of service, and are 100% vested at that time.

? provides six paid holidays per year, after 90 days of service.

?provides one week of paid vacation after one year of service, two weeks of paid vacation after three years of service, and three weeks of paid vacation after five years of service.
