Tactical Law Enforcement Officer

The Wexford Group International, with headquarters in the Washington, DC area is seeking several "SENIOR" Tactical Law Enforcement Officers to provide direct support as members of a mixed "active duty military and contractor team" performing tasks directly related to the Global War on Terrorism.

These positions require broadly gauged experts that have a minimum of 15 years "civilian law enforcement" experience with a "large metropolitan police force" or "federal law enforcement agency" and have practical experience and expertise in SWAT, criminal investigations, undercover work, counter-drug operations, gang violence and violent street crimes. Post blast experience is also a highly desirable skill.

?These experts will perform Tactical Law Enforcement Operations in hazardous overseas locations such as Iraq and Afghanistan as members of a specialized Field Team.?

Experience and Education:


Experience & Education:

* Minimum of 15 years "street experience" in a large civilian police department or federal law enforcement agency and

? Multi-discipline qualifications in weapons and tactical optics, ammunition, sensors, tactical communications and electronic countermeasures that might be utilized in crime determent (desired).

? Experience with explosives or post blast investigations (desired).

? Effective written and oral communication skills

? Capable of performing missions in a small unit accompanying U.S. and Coalition forces into ?high-threat environments? worldwide.

Desired Skills:

? Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain a Top Secret (SCI) Security Clearance.

? Military experience is desired but does not substitute for the minimum civilian law enforcement or federal law enforcement experience required for this position.
