Technician

Technician

The New York County District Attorney's Office seeks a technician to work in its Engineering Unit. Responsibilities include but are not limited to recording statements from defendants and witnesses; videotaping crime scenes; preparation and presentation of audio/video evidence. Recovery and analysis of digital video evidence; testify at judicial proceedings. Perform related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Bachelor's degree or vocational/trade school certificate
Two years experience with video technologies
Basic knowledge of CCTV systems
Forensic Video analysis experience a plus
Avid and Photoshop experience required
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills essential
Ability to work independently under pressure in highly sensitive and confidential investigations
