ASSOCIATE CORPORATE COUNSEL

EnerSys, the world leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Corporate Counsel at our Corporate Headquarters in Reading, PA.  This ?in-house? attorney will report to the General Counsel and will be responsible for various day-to-day legal matters throughout the Company.  Responsibilities include:

 

- preparing and negotiating contracts with customers and vendors

- supporting M & A transactions

- overseeing subsidiary governance

- overseeing litigation and other disputes

- assisting with legal training

- advising on other miscellaneous legal matters

 

The qualified candidate must have strong corporate attorney skills with at least 2 years experience handling corporate and transactional matters, strong communication and drafting skills, and the ability to resolve legal and business issues effectively and efficiently.  Experience in other legal areas would be helpful.  Some overnight travel is required  The candidate must be admitted to the PA Bar.
