Position is based in the Mid Hudson Valley region of New York

 

FIRM OVERVIEW:

 

Our Client, a respected and well established law firm with offices in the Mid Hudson Valley, has asked us to assist them in their search for an Associate Attorney to join them and contribute to their active and growing practice. The work environment / culture of the firm is positive, collegial and achievement oriented.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

This individual?s primary areas of concentration will include environmental, municipal, land use, commercial real estate and litigation. The position will involve substantial work with area planning boards, therefore persuasive communication skills and confidence in interpersonal relations will play a key role in this attorney?s responsibilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience, some of which must have been in land use or environmental law. Course work within those areas in law school would also be well received. Good academic credentials and class ranking will also be an expectation. Must be capable of assuming responsibility for clients immediately.

 

The compensation plan includes an attractive base range plus the opportunity to earn bonus based upon performance. Ongoing learning and education is provided at the firm?s expense and the benefits are comprehensive and competitive. Relocation, if necessary, will be provided by the firm.
