Assistant Vice President, Attorney

SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting General Counsel to manage legal affairs of Litton Loan Servicing LP.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assists General Counsel to draft, negotiate, and/or review contracts entered into by company? Assists General Counsel to advise management generally on legal aspects of company activities including contract interpretations, potential liabilities, and legal and regulatory compliance Assists General Counsel and Compliance Officer to monitor federal and state laws and regulations and report to management regarding their affect on the company?s operations Assists General Counsel and Compliance Officer to monitor state licensing and related compliance examinations Provides legal support for drafting policies and procedures for compliance with laws and regulations Provides legal support for compliance with securities laws Researches and responds to legal issues in borrower inquiries Occasional travel may be required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Juris Doctorate Licensed to practice in Texas 5+ years legal experience in mortgage banking
