Associate Director, Legal (Clinical Attorney)

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation and negotiation of contracts needed for the clinical trials, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, quality assurance and commercial groups. Contract types include but are not limited to: Clinical Trial Agreements, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Lab Services Agreements, Consulting Agreements, CRO and Principal Investigator Agreements, Indemnifications, Pharmacy Agreements, templates for Master Services Agreements, and Consultant/Advisor/Speaker Agreements.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Law degree and admission to practice in at least one state (preferably California)
Strong background in transactional work, with at least 2 years experience preferred with clinical trials and biotech vendor relationships, and 3 to 5 years total experience
Experience with foreign contracting a definite plus.
