Our client, a well known and well respected Chicago loop law firm, is searching

for a Corporate Paralegal with experience in Mergers and Acquisitions to work on a long term project within their Corporate Law Department.

 

The Firm offers beautiful offices, a professional environment and a supportive paralegal department.

 

The position is expected to last approximately 4 months or longer, depending on the circumstances. Some of the responsibilities will include:

 Assisting other paralegals in completing assignmentsPerforming research, reviewing documentsAssisting in maintaining corporate records and databaseDrafting of Merger and Acquisition documentationReviewing other corporate documents as required

 

Qualifications:

 Must have at least 3 to 4 years of Corporate Paralegal Experience to include merger and acquisition transactional workWe require strong communication skills, both verbal and written and a strong sense of professionalism at all timesWe require the ability to begin and complete projects with the appropriate follow up proceduresSolid organization skills are a mustComputer literacy with solid knowledge of MS Word (Excel is a plus)

 

Education:

 Must have an ABA approved Paralegal CertificatePrefer a Bachelor's Degree
