We are the first national network created by, for and with an 18-34 year-old audience. Our unique programming is directed toward young adults and what's going on in their world. With a substantial portion of the network's content provided by viewers themselves, we're the first network in history whose programming is supplied in part by the very audience who watches it. Current launched in August 2005 and is currently in 28 million homes.

 

We are looking for a Contract Administrator ? Licensing and Broadcast Clearance for our San Francisco office.  This position will report to our SVP, Business Affairs and have the following responsibilities:

 

? Review audiovisual work to assess its compliance with applicable broadcast standards.

? Review program elements/confirm or obtain clearances prior to broadcast.

? Assist with the drafting, processing, and organization of agreements and contracts.

? Organize, track, and communicate important deadlines/ option dates.

? Maintain information databases.

? Scheduling and coordinating meetings, teleconferences, and appointments.

? Prepare and revise correspondence, memoranda and other materials on behalf of the Business Affairs department.

? Follow up internally and externally on pending contract and other licensing matters.

Perform administrative tasks as requested. 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

? 3+ years experience in licensing administration, including drafting of form license agreements.

? Experience in handling rights clearances.

? Experience in preparation of licensing documents.

? Superior verbal, written, editing, and proof-reading skills.

? Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.

? Must work well in a closely-knit, team-oriented, fast-paced, and deadline-pressured environment.

? Ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials in a professional manner.

? Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

? Ability to prioritize work and multi-task.

? Great attitude and a team player!

? College Degree.
