Contract Administrator/PARALEGAL

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate!!! This is a 6 month+ contract opportunity in Alpharetta. Local candidates only.

HOURLY PAY: $30-$38 an hour

JOB DUTIES:
30% Review US hardcopy contract files for organization and identify any missing documents. Starting with “A??? and going through “Z???
- SCS contracts have multiple incorporated documents and over time have multiple amendments.
- Identify any missing document.
- Prepare inventory of hardcopy file
- Compare inventory to Contract database
- Identify hardcopy contracts not in database or vice versa
- Develop an inventory of identified missing documents.

35% Prepare contract files for data entry into contracts database, and assist with any contract interpretation of legal terms and conditions needed for database entry.
- A Financial temporary will be assigned to interpret contract terms such as billing, liability, etc terms and enter into the database. Paralegal will assist with “rating??? of contract terms, such as “Force Majeure???, based on an established scale.
- Verify PDF images exist for contract, and if do not exist create the PDF files needed for upload to the contracts database.

10% Create and maintain data loading status tracking.
- Estimate 10,000+ documents to be loaded to data warehouse, 3,800 entered to date.
- Keep tracking log of
- documents entered in system
- documents to be entered at future date.

15% Contract Control and Approval Audit
- SCS contract process has a control procedure for approvals for exceptions from standard contract language. Audit current 2006 contracts as executed for compliance with control procedure.

10% Other project tasks as assigned.

Strong Organization and Communication Skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Candidates must have Contract Administration Experience.
Prior Experience with business service contracts.
Prior Experience working on a contracts organization / database project preferred.
