Contracts Administration Supervisor

Global Signal Services LLC (Global), one of the country's largest telecommunication tower companies and located in sunny Sarasota, Florida, has an immediate need for a Contracts Administration Supervisor.  This position reports to the Contracts Administration Manager and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Global Signal?s database by interpreting tenant and landlord leases for assigned territories, resolving issues and overriding the lease database when required. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide hands on training and guidance for the Contract Administrators and Data Entry Technicians as they  review, abstract and input into Global Signal?s database pertinent information from tenant and landlord leases to ensure accurate billing, payable and collection information;Interpret unclear information in the leases and resolve issues as defined by the Contracts Administration Team, other departments, or the customer; Resolve data inconsistencies in inventory by communicating with Field Operation Reps to reconcile tower audit information including: equipment, utility service, shelters, pads, and other relevant site data; Oversee  the communication of tower site corrections to the appropriate departments to ensure data integrity for reporting and other company purposesReview and certify the reconciliation of landlord rents and issuance of monthly landlord statements;Review General Ledger coding, e.g. automatic, prepaid, accruals, etc. for consistency and accuracy;Ensure timeliness and accuracy of manual payments to landlords where appropriate, e.g., revenue share, per equipment rental calculations and other; and Compile daily work progress reports for the manager. Review compliance reports and perform random sampling of data entered by team members to meet SOX requirements

 

Qualifications:

 

?  AS or AA with 5-7 years business experience, 1-3 years telecom preferred, or four year degree with 3-5 years experience, with 1-3 years telecom preferred;

?  Great attention to detail;

?  Ability to read, understand, interpret and clearly communicate lease terms;

?  Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and meet established deadlines;

?  Excellent interpersonal skills, effective organization and ability to motivate and mentor a team.

?  Proficiency in Microsoft Office required;

?  Some accounting experience preferred; and Self-starter with can-do attitude.
