Conferon Global Services, a leading provider of event and meeting services to events of all sizes including 72 of the Tradeshow Week's 200 largest shows and more than 2,200 meetings and incentive groups annually, has an immediate opening for a Contracts Editor.

 

Job Purpose:

Helps businesses comply with contract applications, rules, and regulations, and contract adherence requirements by representing business entities in the compliance and completion of contracts.



Duties:

* Helps businesses maintian contracts, giving advice on bid preparation; ensuring contract submission protocol compliance; providing guidance through the life of the contract.



* Helps cost and price contracts by interpreting cost and pricing regulations; understanding cost principles, and the application of other cost and pricing rules.



* Minimizes client exposure and maximizes opportunities by assessing risks arising from contract matters under investigation or audit.


* Protects client's intellectual property rights.


* Completes agreements and cases by consulting with experts within and outside government agencies; preparing proposals, contracts, and other legal documents; preparing legal briefs; developing strategies, arguments, and testimony.



* Maintains contract agreements and case progress by following and enforcing productivity and quality standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.


* Maintains cost standards by monitoring expenses; recommending cost-saving opportunities.

* Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.

* Updates job knowledge by keeping abreast of requirements; regulations and trends; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


* Accomplishes goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
