Contracts Specialist

We are seeking to hire a Contract Specialist, a member of our legal department, who will be responsible for developing license and service agreements for software, clinical content, professional consulting, equipment, maintenance and implementation/technology services. The job requires a superior understanding of contracts, with knowledge of software licensing and related service agreements preferred. The Contract Specialist drafts and edits contracts and related legal documents in conformance with specific contract templates and MHS policies, including verifying customer, pricing, and product information through using a variety of on-line databases. The Contract Specialist also reviews and edits contracts and related legal documents proposed by MHS customers. The Contract Specialist also must be able to prioritize and organize multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines and adhering to strict quality criteria, and communicating and coordinating with other MHS organizations. A track record of successfully teaming with other Contract Specialists, in-house attorneys, sales and finance teams is required. The Contract Specialist must possess the ability to work well independently and adapt to change, be goal oriented, pay attention to detail and possess a high degree of integrity.

Successful performance requires a strong Microsoft WORD proficiency and working knowledge of Excel.

Education
4-year degree in business or 7-10 years complex contracting experience in technology industry
