Position Overview
1) Under semi-direct supervision, and with a high degree of accuracy, create, maintain and copy legal files, utilizing copiers, fax machines and other office equipment as necessary, including archiving files and maintaining storage database.
2) Enter department information into the legal department database daily.
3) Retrieve from and file legal documents in appropriate files, using alphabetical and/or numerical sorting orders.
4) Provide clerical support to legal department attorneys and administrative staff and assist with project on an ad hoc basis as assigned.
5) Track department office supplies and order additional supplies as needed collect, sort and distribute income mail, facsimiles and other information deliveries, and prepare a variety of material for mailing using a wide range of delivery options.
6) Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum one year working experience performing the same functions as listed above, preferrably in a law firm.
2 years of solid administrative assistant experience.
Accurate typing and data entry skills.
Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook.
High school diploma, required.
Flexible and open to long hours.
