Corporate General Counsel

The ideal candidate will perform the responsibilities of the General Counsel office dealing with all legal corporate matters. The GC will prepare and review all contracts and legal documents. He/she will represent the Corporation and affiliates before all legal entities, including governmental and regulatory agencies, courts and arbitration bodies. The GC will assist the Corporation in the development of its business and policy initiatives. He/she will also manage several outside counsel relationships, dealing with ongoing litigation.
Job Requirements:
* J.D. degree with 5-7 years of commercial litigation and general corporate experience.
* Licensed to practice in Florida and before Local and Federal Courts.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside attorneys, senior management, and business associates.

* Experienced in the following areas of law: general business,intellectual property law including patent law, contract law and commercial litigation.
* Experience managing outside counsel relationships.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications and the use of Westlaw
