Corporate Paralegal ? Insurance/Corporate/Acquisitions

 

Established White Plains Company seeks a paralegal with insurance coverage and corporate experience to work within the corporate legal department.

 

The position is primarily responsible for:

 

-  the management of company-wide insurance policies (reporting to carriers, premium payments, notification to carriers, etc.).

-  the management of company corporate records (all organizational documents, articles, resolutions, etc.) and filings.

-  providing primary support on new acquisitions to the attorneys within the legal department.

 

The candidate must have specific experience with insurance coverage, insurance policies and liability management issues.

 

The candidate should require minimal supervision, possess impeccable organizational, communication, and written skills and have 3-6 years experience either within a law firm or corporate legal department.  The ideal candidate should be proactive in seeking responsibility, have the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, be detail oriented, accurate, organized, timely and punctual. 

 

The candidate should have a 'can-do' attitude and be able to interact on a professional level with many different types of personalities, as well as levels of management.  This candidate should also possess computer proficiency, strong MS Word/Excel skills.  Knowledge of Word Perfect an added plus.
