We?re seeking a Corporate Records Manager to join our Compliance Division in our Chicago office.

 

Responsibilities:

? Corporate Records Manager will be accountable to assist with design of and take lead responsibility for implementation of a customized company-wide records management process, to comply with all regulatory requirements.

? Consult with internal groups regarding and information management issues, including IT on a variety of enterprise-wide technology project; Legal on litigation and other legal matters; Tax, and Internal Audit regarding retention issues; business units and records management systems and procedures.

? Coordinate and monitor auditing plans and processes to ensure departments comply  with the Records Management Policy, Retention Schedules, associated  standards and procedures, and legal accountability requirements.  Develop and monitor ongoing records management training program for company staff members.

? Coordinate the development and updating of retention  and disposition policies for all records maintained by company departments ensuring that policies are comprehensive and reflect current business and legal requirements.

 

Qualifications:

? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Records/Information Management and 5 years of experience with records management concepts and operations, and recordkeeping requirements for compliance, litigation support, risk assessment and intellectual property issues in a corporate setting.

? Certified Records Manager (CRM) and involvement in ARMA International preferred.  Knowledge of electronic discovery issues and business continuity planning preferred.

? Knowledge of financial services industry is a plus.
