We are looking to recruit a Database Analyst who will be responsible for performing all job functions of the Database Maintenance Team. Responsibilities include data entry and updating of record information from both US Secretary of States offices and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Communication and coordination with various government agencies may be needed to accomplish job functions. The Database Analyst is responsible for updating federal and state records and providing services to co-workers and clients, including on-demand verification and correction of record information as needed.


Primary Duties

o Data entry of record information from various Secretary of States offices
o Updating and correction of Federal records from the United States Patent and Trademark Office
o Communication and coordination with Secretary of State offices
o Training of new members and cross-training with other team members as needed
o Tracking and updating currency information within our system
o Aiding with "cross references", translations, and other data enhancements to records as needed
o Identifying and communicating needed and desired changes to workflow
o Perform internet research and must have proficiency with the internet, including the use of search engines, online databases, and other information tools.

Qualifications:
o A bachelors degree or previous legal experience is preferred
o Proficiency on online databases; specifically some combination of Dialog, Lexis-Nexis, West or government document research is preferred
o Proficiency on MS Office tools, including Word, and Excel
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong organization skills.
o Strong Customer Service skills
o Must be detail oriented, and have strong analytical, time management and problem solving skills
o Must have the ability to work well in a team environment
o The ability to handle multiple tasks at once is required.
