Ferguson Enterprises is now seeking to fill an Employment Practices Administrator for our Corporate Headquarters, located in Newport News, VA.

JOB OBJECTIVE: To ensure the timely and accurate handling of all claims for unemployment compensation benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities
? Prepare and present the Company?s position in response to claims filed for unemployment benefits by former associates;
? Prepare managers for participation in unemployment claim appeal hearings;
? Monitor the status of the claims for unemployment benefits; and
? Coordinate the activities of the third party administrator that assists the Company in managing its claims for unemployment benefits

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
? Prior experience managing claims for unemployment benefits;
? Excellent written and oral communication skills;
? Excellent attention to detail;
? Ability to interact with all levels of management;
? Excellent organizational and time management skills;
? Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously;
? Ability to prioritize;
? Ability to establish and follow necessary processes;
? Ability to work well independently;
? Ability to generate and interpret reports;
? Friendly, positive, persuasive attitude;
? Strong sense of pride and ownership of work;
? Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., as well as ability to learn additional software packages; and
? Typing speed of 55 wpm;
