We are seeking a 3rd Shift Lead for our legal word processing department to work a Monday through Friday, 11:30pm to 8:00am opportunity. This is a temp-to-perm position.

Position requires prior document processing experience in a team environment; the ability to work independently with no supervision; ability to produce accurate work product; excellent customer service and professionalism; strong leadership skills; excellent organizational skills; effective use of firm-supported software packages to create and produce legal documents; flexibility to work overtime; and team spirit.

Skills: Typing 75 wpm; advanced skills in Word 97, Excel 97, and PowerPoint 97; familiar with WordPerfect 6.1 or higher; experience using CompareRite; tape transcription; working knowledge of windows applications, including e-mail and document management systems; intermediate hardware/software troubleshooting skills; basic knowledge of PC platforms.

Responsible for intake, negotiate deadlines and prioritize production.

Coordinate workflow of evening document specialists (monitor long-term and on-going assignments, reassign jobs to available operators to ensure timely completion of documents, and ensure proper workflow procedures are followed).

Assist Supervisor with reconciling data collection and preparation of reports.

Handle minor customer complaints/concerns in a timely manner and provide feedback to Supervisor.

Assure highest customer service standards and customer communication.
Strong communication skills.

Provide timely and accurate document processing support to all client personnel utilizing client standards and formats; maintain thorough knowledge of all firm-supported software packages in order to provide maximum support.

Create and edit documents, mail merges, charts, graphs, tables, etc.

Scan and clean up documents utilizing scanner equipment and software.
Convert and clean documents from other software applications.

Assist customers with software-related questions.

Flexibility in working overtime.
