Foreign Filing Specialist / International Specialist

The Northern Virginia office has an immediate opening for an International Specialist who will be responsible for preparation, filing and prosecution of international patent and trademark applications.  If you are an energetic, positive individual, enjoy working in a team environment, have the ability to multitask, and are well organized, we encourage you to apply.  Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills are essential.

The successful candidate will possess two (2) years minimum progressive foreign filing experience with a law firm; ability to work under pressure while producing a high volume of information; type at least approximately 45 wpm; ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints and meet day to day deadlines.  The candidate should also have the interpersonal skills in order to communicate and follow instructions; provide information with courtesy and tact, and the ability and willingness to follow firm guidelines and procedures to provide accurate information either by data entry or independent judgment.  The successful candidate must have strong communication and writing skills, and a willingness to work overtime as needed and to work in a team environment.  Knowledge of MS Office is necessary.
