Fraud Investigator II

With over $2.9 billion dollars in assets, VyStar Credit Union is currently experiencing extraordinary growth!  As part of this, we are currently looking for an experienced Fraud Investigator II to join our fast-growing team.

 

The Fraud Investigator II is responsible for investigating account and credit card fraud claims filed by members of VyStar Credit Union.  Duties include completing fraud claims, plastic card reclamation claims and tracking restitution payments.  Telephone and personal interaction with branch associates, legal authorities and co-workers is a necessary duty of the Fraud Investigator II position.  The incumbent?s thoroughness and timeliness in investigating fraud claims is crucial to minimize and/or recover losses incurred by VyStar or its members, and ensuring the arrest/conviction of the suspects involved.  The incumbent is expected to review fraud trends through internal and external reports and make recommendations regarding fraud prevention, provide fraud prevention training as directed and assist with special projects on request.

 

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years post-high school education, along with excellent report writing and speaking skills.  Having a Certified Fraud Examiner designation/certification is a desirable.  Minimum of 5 years previous experience with fraud investigations including experience with plastic cards.
