IP Supervisor

Mid-sized Midtown Law Firm is looking for an IP Supervisor.

 

This person will supervise and oversee the day to day operations of the Formallities and Docketing Departments in the firms' New York office:

 

Responsibities will include;Scheduling, training, recruiting, counseling, disciplining and evaluating employees.Supervisor will assist lateral attorneys with file integration into the firm's  docketing databaseWill mentor IP Docketing and Formalities SpecialistsProvide on-going training to department with respect to internal proceduresInteract with outside consultants and IT staff to identify and implement new automation technologiesOversee maintenance of online docketing ProceduresCreate specialized status reports for client and attorney

 

Candidate must have strong working knowledge of computers, fax, scanner and photocopy machines.  Must have working knowledge of all Patent and Trademark  procedures in U.S. and foreign countries, including USPTO, PCT and Foreign rules and practices.

 

Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years IP experience with 2 to 4 years IP supervisory included.
