IST CONTRACT ANALYST

This position, available in the Legal department at SCANA Services, Inc., is located in Columbia, S.C. 

 

Responsibilities and duties include:Reviewing and negotiating of software licensing agreements, technology hardware purchases, software and/or hardware maintenance agreements, application service provider or outsourcing agreements and professional services agreements related to software development, installation and/or maintenance. Assisting in the development of policies related to the formation and administration of these contracts, for monitoring compliance with the policies, and for assisting in the negotiation of contracts in accordance with the policies.  Interaction with internal customers and internal and external attorneys to resolve contract issues and promote compliance with policies is an essential function of the position.

 

Minimum requirements and qualifications include:Bachelor?s degree and at least 2 years of contract administration experience including knowledge of information technology software and information technology contract review, negotiation and administration experience.  Will have a working knowledge of information technology software contract types, terms and conditions and security, commercial and legal requirements.  Familiarity with legal concepts regarding contracts and licensing agreements is preferred. A broad knowledge of operations and functions throughout SCANA Services, Inc. and its affiliates is desired.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, strong verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
