In-House Trademark Paralegal for Health and Beauty Company

We are currently seeking an In-House Trademark Paralegal to join our team.

 

Responsibilites of the Trademark Paralegal include:

 Receiving trademark search requests from clients, conducting online screening searches, evaluating results and reporting preliminary opinion to clients regarding availability Handling all aspects of U.S. trademark prosecution and maintenance, including maintenance of files, preparation and filing trademark applications, Office Action responses, ITU-related documents (i.e. Statements of Use) and post-registration documents (i.e., Sections 8 and/or 15 affidavits) Overseeing filing and maintenance of international trademark applications and registrations, including maintenance of files, reviewing correspondence from foreign counsel and drafting responses to the same Preparing assignments of trademark registrations and applications and filing the same with PTO Overseeing execution and legalization of documents such as trademark assignments and powers of attorney for submission in international trademark matters

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 3-5 years of trademark experience, in-house or law firm Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred Experience with online trademark databases (SAEGIS) Experience with docketing programs (WORLDMARK) Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) a must Great attention to detail Highly motivated Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
