Investigator II T-Mobile Corporate INVESTIGATIONS Responsible for investigating incidents of fraud, theft, policy violations, allegations of wrongdoing, or any other activities that have or potentially could adversely affect T-Mobile USA such as:
allegations of employee integrity involving customer accounts
abuse of policy and responsibility
misappropriation of T-mobile assets
various types of fraud
other forms of inappropriate and/or illegal activity
which are reported via email, voicemail, electronic incident reporting, or discovered by proactive approach means and/or through other INVESTIGATIONS.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist investigators, attorneys, and other business partners with the collection, organization, and preparation of data for review and analysis in legal matters, regulatory filings, and investigations.
Effectively prioritize cases received so as to most efficiently handle INVESTIGATIONS with highest potential impact to the Company
Successfully handle/manage investigations that are assigned on a regional basis
Utilize T-Mobile proprietary software and applications to build a case in support of reported allegations or to clear a subject of said allegations.
Follow through on leads until all possible avenues to building a case have been exhausted.
Analyze data and investigative information.
Interview individuals, both in person and over the telephone, to collect information and/or evidence.
Work in coordination with internal business partners and various external parties, including law enforcement officials, as appropriate to facilitate case development.
Communicate with upper level management regarding case development.
Make decisions based on investigative findings.
Prepare reports and document case details, development and outcome.
Testify in a court of law and provide depositions when required.
Any other duties as requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information.
Ability to demonstrate T-Mobile Company values in all daily activities.
Demonstrate ability to regularly respond with professionalism to new situations and complex issues in a fast paced environment.
Knowledge of computers with the ability to learn the T-Mobile proprietary software and applications utilized to perform duties.
Must conduct all business with executive & business maturity.
Exhibit solid understanding of individual and department goals as well as an in-depth understanding of business operations.
Strong organizational & presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate with upper level management.
Ability to work well with a variety of skill levels across a large number of diverse internal groups, teams, divisions and cultures.
Ability to organize and appropriately prioritize multiple, on-going tasks.
Ability to solve complex problems for self and team members when appropriate.
Ability to work independently, as well as in team situations, to help internal & external customers achieve desired results.
Ability to travel as necessary to fulfill certain duties and responsibilities of the position.
Proficient in Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
Ability to complete cases in an efficient and timely manner.
Ability to make informed decisions based on all available information.
Ability to accept guidance and coaching from supervisors and/or management to facilitate professional growth.
Ability and willingness to travel, occasionally on short notice if necessary.
Minimum Education, Certification and/or Training Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Typically requires 5+ years of investigative experience in the public and/or private sector.
Experience in giving depositions and/or court testimony.
Knowledge of wireless industry desired.
Ability to learn T-Mobile proprietary software for investigative analysis.
Accreditation/membership in a professional security, legal or investigative organization preferred.
