Knowledge Management Specialist

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST: Prominent Palo Alto firm has an immediate opening for a Knowledge Management Specialist. The primary responsibilities of the position will be to design, develop, market and manage the knowledge resources that help the firms litigators deliver effective and efficient work product for our clients. The Knowledge Management Specialist will work closely with our litigation attorneys, legal support staff, software programmers and financial analysts to manage a variety of KM projects.

The chosen candidate will be a senior paralegal with considerable experience in securities, intellectual property, employment or commercial litigation in a corporate law environment, ideally combined with a track record of development, management or use of knowledge management systems. A background of project and client management, professional development and training skills and an understanding of technology will be critical. A demonstrated ability to lead a broad range of projects simultaneously and to effectively participate in cross-functional teams will be necessary. Facility with all Microsoft applications and an understanding of web publishing and databases are desirable. Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to effectively manage and assess conflicting priorities will be essential to success.
