Law Firm Chief Operating Officer

Extraordinary opportunity with dynamic, fast-paced, profitable, Westchester-based law firm representing hedge funds and brokerage firms is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to manage all aspects of firm operations, including billing, financial reports, lease negotiations, international office expansion, and staff supervision. Duties include assisting partners in coordinating three offices -- home and two foreign offices; tracking billables, accounts receivable, and providing monthly and quarterly reports; negotiating terms and conditions of maintenance contracts; overseeing the maintenance of the premises and all building related matters; managing office services; developing, maintaining, and facilitating operating budgets and managing expenses. Overseeing Human Resources, including secretarial support services and employee relations within the firm; developing, maintaining and interpreting Human Resource policies and providing support and guidance to department managers and staff on dealing with related issues; managing compensation and performance of staff; ensuring performance reviews are conducted for all employees; overseeing the recruitment process relating to administrative employees and lawyers.
