Lease Abstractor

 

Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, a publicly held real estate management & development firm located in center city Philadelphia is currently seeing a Lease Administrator in their Lease Administration Department.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

?  Review and abstract commercial leases and all pertinent documents in the JD Edwards property management system

?  Conduct write-offs and adjustments to tenant ledger

?  Manually input/adjust tenant's monthly recurring billings when necessary

?  Adjust tenant accounts upon receipt of Move-In, Move-Out and Hold Over notices

?  Maintain all aspects of property management computer system regarding tenant address book, lease, units, and square footage information

?  Prepare leasing commission invoices for in-house leasing representative and outside brokers per the terms of Management Agreements and Brokers Agreements, as appropriate

?  Coordinate and correspond with Tenant Co-ordination, Asset Management, Property Managers and Accountants in performing the above function

?  Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly or ad hoc reports as deemed necessary by the Director

?  Reconcile rent roll information of Joint Venture Properties in JD Edwards monthly 

?  Participate in the training and implementation of all new computer system

?  Respond to pertinent inquiries from other departments and properties via email, fax, telephone or any other media as appropriate

?  Assist in special projects assigned by the Director of Lease Administration

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

?  Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required

?  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

?  Good organizational and administrative skills

?  Strong mathematical skills

?  Three or more years experience in the commercial real estate industry preferred

?  Proficient in Excel and JD Edwards software
