Legal/Admin Assistant

ILOG is in search of a Legal/Admin Assistant to support the office of the General Counsel. The Legal/ Admin Assistant is expected to provide day-to-day support managing the company's legal affairs office, and assist the CFO on an as needed basis.

The job duties for the General Counsel encompass the management and maintenance of all contract files of the company, as well as the documents related to the corporate affairs generally, assisting the sales force and customers in connection with customer contracts, creating and maintaining different databases on the company intranet, arranging travel, preparing expense reports, handling certain aspects of the company?s insurance renewals, and drafting inter-company agreements and similar documents.

To qualify, the candidate must possess the following:

-A self starter with a lot of initiative and good judgment since the position offers a significant amount of independence in performing the responsibility.

-Has a knack for details and can easily decipher inconsistencies in contracts, written reports, processes and procedures as well as the ability to resolve minor issues with precision.

-Someone who has worked with a reputable law firm that deals with corporate accounts or someone who has worked for an executive of an established multinational company will have an advantage.

-Must have excellent skills in Word, Power Point presentation, and Front Page and other computer and internet skills will be a definite plus.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Has savvy and good interpersonal skills as the person is expected to deal with customers and people within the company at all levels.
