The Legal Affairs Manager will serve as the Legal Department?s primary manager in charge all legal corporate document functions, including all Legal Contracts, corporate records, and corporate governance compliance. In consultation with the Legal Department Head, the Legal Affairs Manager will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and monitoring of all KMA legal policies and procedures including all policies and procedures governing activities:

 

a) Within the KMA Legal Department

b) With other KMA operation Departments,

c)  With Kia-affiliate entities, including HMA and KMC

d) With outside service providers (outside law firms, investigators, vendors, etc.)

 

The Legal Affairs Manager will also oversee all administrative functions relating to non-attorney staff with-in the Legal Department. These administrative management functions include support staff supervision, paralegal staff management, and Legal administrative management relating to KMA affiliates and outside service providers.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

?  BA/BS degree or equivalent.

?  Paralegal Certification from an accredited paralegal education program in the US or equivalent.

?  Corporate legal experience ? either as Senior Supervising Paralegal and/or Legal office administrator/manager.

?  Contract management experience ? contract drafting, negotiation, administration, record-keeping.

?  Paralegal and support staff management experience.
