Responsibilities:


Manages the legal affairs of BHI operations in assigned region or division. Responsibilities may include labor, compliance, litigation, acquisitions, divestitures and corporate matters. Advises senior management on legal risks and exposures. Provides proactive legal advice and training to BHI personnel as required. Manages selection and use of outside legal counsel. Manages litigation, claims, and dispute resolution in region or division. Monitors new laws, rules and regulations affecting BHI. Provides legal advice to contracts specialists as required. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team oriented environment.





Education/Experience:


Bachelor's Degree plus recognized Law Degree and permitted to provide legal advice in location of responsibility. 7+ years of experience at a law firm or corporate legal department. Experience in oil and gas service industry a plus. Foreign language sk
