LEGAL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Individual will be responsible for providing general administrative support in addition to project-based work to the General Counsel for Litigation and Compliance.? This position includes handling highly sensitive and confidential documents and information with complete confidentiality and trustworthiness.?

PRIMARY DUTIES:

-???????? Planning/Anticipating travel needs of executives and independently coordinating complex travel arrangements

-???????? Preparing expense reports

-???????? Arranging and coordinating meetings/conferences.

-???????? Managing complex calendar activity, including coordination of appointments.

-???????? Prepare, edit, and send electronic and paper correspondence, memoranda and other documents in a timely manner.

-???????? Opportunity to be involved in the management of various projects

-???????? Opening, sorting and distribution of mail; maintaining supplies and maintaining bulletin board announcements

-???????? Prepare PowerPoint presentations and create /manipulate Excel spreadsheets.

-???????? Maintain and organize legal files including central files and files for legal department team members.

-???????? Phone coverage.? Includes answering phones, taking messages and directing calls to appropriate persons.?

-???????? Assisting with miscellaneous complex administrative tasks

EDUCATION:

Associates degree preferred; equivalent education and work experience acceptable.

?

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with legal terminology; superior typing and organizational skills; strong vocabulary and English language capabilities.??? Ability to meet new challenges with an open mind and an optimistic response.
