Alderson Reporting Company, one of the oldest providers of court reporting services in the Country, is seeking to hire Business Developers to establish and maintain relationships with law firms via its New York office.

 

Candidates will identify new prospects and past clients, including litigation attorneys, litigation support, and paralegals at law firms in New York. Ideal candidates will be comfortable researching and identifying prospects, cold-calling, e-mailing, and arranging meetings/presentations with strategic contacts in law firms.

 

Alderson is a leader in the court reporting industry and has enjoyed a long history of service in the Washington D.C. market since 1938. It is owned by Special Counsel, Inc., part of MPS Group (Ticker Symbol: MPS ? NYSE) a recognized leader in staffing across a wide range of industries.

 

Qualified candidates must have a college degree, should have sales experience; legal backgrounds preferable (e.g.. hold a law degree, work as a paralegal, paralegal manager, or practicing attorney). Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to create new business and maintain existing client relationships, must be motivated, have an engaging manner, and be energetic and articulate. Additionally, candidates must possess good oral and written communication skills as well as general computer skills.
